ABSI - far beyond system integration

Visiting a Salesforce World Tour event is always a great occasion to meet new people and catch up with old friends.

This year’s edition was kicked off by Polly Sumner, Chief Adoption Officer at Salesforce with a keynote called “We Are All Trailblazers” which explained how T-Mobile, Rituals and War Child (one of our Converse users) are leveraging the latest Salesforce innovations - such as Einstein AI and IoT - to blaze a new trail to customer success.  

 

For Platinum Partner ABSI, it was also the opportunity to present Rellex, our brand new app for Salesforce project & release management. For those who missed it, don't worry you can get your own free 30 day trial from the AppExchange. For the first time, we also presented Converse, the Salesforce powered CRM & payment solution for European nonprofits.

ABSI and the Benelux Salesforce Community

As a Salesforce pioneer in the Benelux region, being part of this community and advocating for it has always been part of our DNA since our start with Salesforce in 2002. This was the topic of Samuel De Rycke’s presentation in the Trailhead theater about how to engage and benefit from the vast Salesforce community and the available channels out there. 

Community was even more at the center of the event when our very own Paul Ginsberg was awarded a remarkable (in all senses of the word) Golden Trailblazer hoodie, during the keynote, for his outstanding involvement as a Salesforce User Group leader. Kudos to Paul and thanks for sharing our passion far beyond ABSI and Amsterdam.

Customers and partners both reported back to us that this year’s Amsterdam World Tour was the best so far (is it a surprise with 5.000 registrations?) - there was more of a focus on content and what is available within the ecosystem now, with slightly less marketing speal! It’s been an impressive story so far, but with Salesforce turning 20 in 2019, still expanding their existing offering and creating more solutions for new client segments, we look forward to being with them for the journey!
