Become a Web Application Developer!

Are you a Java developer with 1 to 3 years of experience with developing web-based applications?
You might be our next Web Application Developer. ABSI was the first Salesforce partner in Belgium and is Belgium’s leading Salesforce integrator with over 200 successful projects.

What will you do as a Web Application Developer?

You will focus on Cloud & Force.com development. Force.com is the development platform of Salesforce.com and is currently THE cloud solution. In your role, you will deliver high quality code that respects development principles and is ready for production. We will help you making the right technical choices so that you can sell your solution design to your colleagues and clients. On your different projects, you will collaborate with our consultants so that together you come up with the best solutions both processwise and technically. You will also help developing products and mobile applications that will be placed on the appexchange market.

At ABSI, you will join a team of 30 developers, data integrators & architects who all love to write complex & innovative code to develop applications & new functionalities.
At ABSI we are looking for motivated and energetic top talent and not just a list of skills; however experience with the following would be ideal:
  • You have a bachelor degree in IT or you have an equivalent experience
  • You have good communication skills in English and either Dutch or French
  • You are a developer and you have a passion for IT and new technologies
  • You have experience with the development cycle, amongst other design, programming, testing and implementing, documentation
  • You have an eye for performance, scalability and future compatibility
  • You have good analytical and problem solving skills
  • You can work both independently and in a team
The following technical skills are needed:
  • Technology : Object oriented programming in Java or .Net-C#
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with programming of web applications
  • HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, Soap, REST
  • Eclipse or Visual Studio
  • Analysis: Knowledge of ERD or UML and the MVC basic principles
The following knowledge is a plus:
  • Architecture: Service oriented architecture (WCF, Web Services),
  • SOA Technology: SOAP / XML / WSDL / REST
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Force.com
  • Agile programing
  • API Design
  • Apex Visual force
